Skytime 2014 / Moon Rainbow

@ Solar One: Stuyvesant Cove Park, 24-20 FDR Drive Service Road East, NY, NY 10010 (East River near 23rd Street map)

Skytime 2014 / Moon Rainbow is an ongoing series of collaborative Intermedia artworks conceived in 1982 by choreographer, filmmaker, and Intermedia pioneer, Elaine Summers. The project explores the collaborative process with emphasis on the interrelationship between art and technology. Summers' SKY works have seen many incarnations, varying from site-specific multi-disciplinary performance events, to a web-based concept artwork (skytime.org) - all of which are based on the sky as the origin and continuum of time in the human experience.

The project is made possible by the NYSCA Grant - Film & Media / New Tech Production.
