SKYTIME™ is a worldwide celebration of the wonders of the sky by and with everyone living within the embrace of the sky using every known method of communication from word of mouth, hand drums, radio, television, satellite, the web and the most complex constantly developing super electronic highways of cyberspace. The year 2003 is a year of dreaming, planning and inviting your friends to join skytime to create their own ideas, thoughts, interests, visions, feelings and imaginations. SKYTIME™ welcomes the work of everyone including: writers, dancers, choreographers, video artists, mythologists, musicians, composers, song writers, singers, astronomers, meteorologists, astrophysicists, artists, painters, sculptors, photographers, filmmakers, scientists...anyone who wishes to make works about the sky. We encourage participation by children, the elderly, members of congregations and other public institutions as well as the general public to plan and present SKYTIME™ celebrations everywhere. SKYTIME™ is a project of the Kinetic Awareness Center a not-for-profit organization dedicated to development, education and research in the kinetic arts and sciences. Harvestworks is a not-for-profit organization founded to cultivate artistic talent using digital technologies designed so students can gain an understanding of how to use digital tools as well as how to conceptualize and realize a project they are one of the organizations involved in realizing SKYTIME™.
