SKYTIME™ is a concept art work by Elaine Summers, a choreographer, Intermedia Artist, she is a Fulbright Scholar and an Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Center for Advanced Visual Studies Fellow. She happily thanks the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Council on the Arts for their many years of support and encouragement.

Elaine is now an ancient dancer in life, a choreographer whose imagination is always running away with her. She loves light, and the dance of life with all its wonders and enjoying other people's imaginations. Her early pioneering work in the field of Intermedia explored new technologies and ways of integrating film/video, dance, visual art, and music in live performance.

"I love those moments when a dance vision, a funny thought, a delightful memory, a collage of images, or some strange juxtaposition of many arts floats into your mind, or is it that your imagination is invaded by the vibrations of the cosmos or seduced by your curiosity? Maybe the idea only attacks your imagination once and then goes away: or perhaps like SKYTIME™ it keeps coming back in new disguises:and suddenly you find yourself making a new work. I hope SKYTIME™ is a work that will give us all a chance to participate, to enjoy our new technologies and all the old and new forms of communication. I wish you to be a part of skytime."

" Skytime™ will be realized and completed when all the words for all the parts of the sky in every language have been found and added to our many dimensional expressions of the sky;: and all the histories and imaginings of every culture have been assembled and realized in some form of communication; then we will celebrate SKYTIME™ in some delightful worldwide event that will be the creation of all of us.

"Please tell your friends about skytime and invite them to join and make a skywork. Your name and your skywork can be listed FREE on our Skyworks Page and on the calendar."
